Guidelines for Providing Physical Artwork:
Black & White
- Printed art is acceptable if it is originated by a laser
printer with a minimum of 600 dpi.
- Maximum sized area is 8 ½” x 11” (perfect if image is
enlarged to maximize this area).
Guidelines for Providing Computer Generated
Artwork:
P.C. Users
- Adobe Illustrator 8.0 or less
- Corel Draw Version 8 or less
- Raster: JPEG, TIFF, BMP & GIF (HIGH RESOLUTION ONLY)
- Vector: DXF, EPS, AI All text to paths. Include fonts & print for reference.
Macintosh Users
- Adobe Illustrator 8.0 or less
- Raster: JPEG, TIFF, BMP & GIF (HIGH RESOLUTION ONLY)
- Vector: DXF, EPS, AI All text to paths. Include fonts & print for reference.

File Requirements:
- All files submitted in the above format must be converted to curves, both text and
objects - EVERYTHING.
Acceptable File Storage:
- 3.5” Diskettes
- CD Rom Disk
- Iomega zip disk 100MB (PC version only)
- E-mail Address: Solutions@800-4-Any-Sign.com (only with prior authorization)
File Information:
- We will take in files made in numerous other programs.
- All information, (text, objects, etc.) must be converted to curves.
- The file then needs to be exported to *EPS, *DXF, *AI.
- The files can also be submitted in raster files (TIFF,
JPG, GIF, BMP, etc.), however, quality usually suffers and extra charges may be incurred to clean up art prior to production.
- When submitting computer generated art on disks, please submit a hard copy to
compare to and make notations as to colors (PMS preferred), and fonts used.
- Mark file name used, computer software file originated from, computer platform.
IMPORTANT: The Following Are Not Accepted as Camera Ready Artwork:
- Business Cards
- Letterheads
- Artwork submitted in a Microsoft Word file
- Artwork submitted as a raster based file, unless very high
resolution.
